Reflections from Elder's Desk
As we enter the season of thanksgiving, I cannot help but to reflect on how blessed we are and the opportunities we have to make an impact daily.
Though each day brings new opportunities and challenges, your unwavering commitment to our school family is appreciated. As I reflect on this past week, the stories that I heard or conversed directly with students about pain my heart. So, my challenge to you this week is for you to identify at least one student whom you have not built a relationship with and create one! Some of our students are in dark places and do not have any hope, but you can be a ray of sunshine that many of them so desperately need. Students who are encouraged by their teachers can accomplish remarkable things, and that inspiration almost always stays with them. So let’s be a little more cognizant in seeking out the disheartened and be a beacon of light in the midst of their darkness.
We will be Driven by Purpose at AMCHS!
