The Encore 2 rotation ends on Tuesday. Art supplies for Encore 3 are waiting in the office to be picked up for full remote students.

Mrs. Ewald’s and Mrs. Fowler’s Reading and Language Arts
During this short week before Thanksgiving break, we will be reading an article and answering questions on if stores should be open on Thanksgiving for Black Friday shopping. We will determine the author’s position and our opinion on this topic using a written response. Happy Thanksgiving!!!
MATH
Course 2 students (2nd, 4th, 10th periods) will be demonstrating their knowledge of integer operations by taking a CSA on Monday and Tuesday.
Accelerated math students (3rd period) will continue the work we started last Friday on Rational Numbers. Our focus in the early going will be with adding and subtracting.
REVEAL math students (8th period) will also be demonstrating their knowledge of integer operations by taking a CSA on Monday and Tuesday.
SOCIAL STUDIES
For the two days next week, we will continue our study of the Constitutional Convention. We will learn about the debate between delegates about how states should be represented in the new government, and the compromise that came from it.
SCIENCE
During this short week, we will continue our exploration of cell organelles with different extension activities. After break we will finish up our cell unit by examining the cell membrane, mitochondria, and chloroplasts in more detail. We will spend time looking more deeply into how each one of these organelles perform their functions in the cell.
