Effect On The Brain:

Alzheimer's kills nerve cells throughout the brain and it diminishes tissue causing the brain to shrink.


- Memory loss
- Difficulty planning and solving problems
- Trouble understanding visual images and spatial relationships
- Problems with words in speaking and writing

Prognosis and Where it occurs in the brain:

It is different for everyone. It starts in people's 30s, 40s, or 50s. It gets worse as you get older and it will lead to death.

It affects the whole brain.
