An MSD Staff Communication that Cuts out the Clutter!

April 18, 2022

Attendance Zoning Gallery Walks, Work Well Survey, and New Benefit for Staff are the Main Things.

Main Thing 1: Gallery Walks

We encourage our Mighty Medford Educators to attend one of our Attendance Zoning Gallery Walks to learn more about changing middle school attendance zones and give your feedback! The Attendance Zoning Committee created four scenarios for you to consider. You can view the scenarios and fill out the feedback form on our website here. You can also view the scenarios and engage with our committee members in person at one of the following remaining Attendance Zoning Gallery Walks:

  • Griffin Creek Elementary School, Tuesday, April 19 between 5-6 pm

  • Lone Pine Elementary School, Tuesday, April 26 between 5:30–6:30 pm

  • Howard Elementary School, Thursday, April 28 between 5-6 pm

    • Howard Elementary School (Spanish), April 28 between 6-7pm

Please note, these scenarios are not final. The Attendance Zoning Committee will use the feedback to make a recommendation to the Medford School District Board of Directors. A final decision is expected at the May 19 Board meeting.

Work Well Survey

In the Medford School District, we believe in a culture of embracing feedback. The Work Well Survey gives us an opportunity to receive feedback from all employees. Last year, the district sent out the first version of this survey. You can view the results here. We use your feedback continuously as we build our plans and systems in the MSD.

This year’s Work Well Survey will be sent out in the next couple of weeks. This is a completely anonymous survey administered by a third party.

Join our next On The Record on April 26 at 4:00 pm to ask questions about the Work Well Survey and learn more about last year’s results. You can find the zoom link on our website here.

New Benefit for Staff

The Medford School District has a new benefit called Vida Health. This is a FREE benefit for all staff! Vida Health connects you with a health coach or therapist to reach your physical and mental health goals. To sign up, go to If you have questions contact our benefits specialist, Kara Metcalf, at
