LHS Staff Highlight
Meet Cpl. Angela Delozier!
Do you have a nickname? I've had many over the years; Mac Mama, DeLo, or Cpl D. I love them all!!
What position do you hold in the building? School Resource Officer
What's something interesting about you? I like to hunt deer and water fowl. I have two hunts on my bucket list; mountain cat and wild boar hunt. I am also trying to learn how to rope.
What is something most people don't know about you? I am the only female in my agency to maintain an Expert Marksman status with my rifle and handgun.
What do you like to do in your free time? I don't have much free time with the birth of my fourth son. But I love horseback riding, digital scrapbooking, clay shooting, hunting, hiking, or anything that is challenging and fun!
What's your favorite thing about being a staff member at LHS? I truly feel loved and appreciated! Since the moment I walked through the front doors, staff made me feel welcomed and as part of the team! There are so many staff members who love the students and you see that love and enthusiasm in their interactions with students and staff. That gets me so excited and drives me to be the best version of me for them!
Anything else you'd like to share? I am always here and make myself as available as possible for everyone! The hardest thing for me to tell people is that I may not be able to fix your situation or help you. Which is devastating to me because I desire to help anyone who reaches out to me for help. But if I can't, what I can do is be a safe place for you to come, be a good listener, and offer solid advice if you want it. Lastly, even though I try to always make the best decisions, sometimes I don't and I make mistakes. I am always willing to learn, understand different perspectives and grow as a person. Working here with such awesome students and staff make it easy to get up each morning and come to work!
We would love to "highlight" each of you at some point throughout the year! Please click here to tell us a little about yourself.

Debate Team Carousel (TPT, 94)
- Ask all students to record their judgment and a rationale for what they believe in the first box.
- Ask them to all pass their papers to the right, and read and add a supporting rationale that goes along with their peer’s judgment (even if they don’t agree).
- Ask them to all pass their papers to the right, and read what is in both of their peers’ boxes and add something that might be used as an opposing rationale (whether they agree with the rationale or not). ALLOWING & PROMOTING COLLABORATION Debate Team Carousel (cont.)
- Ask them to all pass their papers to the right and add their own opinion, supporting it with their rationale, in the final box.
- Ask students to give the papers back to their original owners.
- Ask volunteers to share with the class some of the arguments for and against on their carousel forms.
