What Drives Maine 207's Professional Development Offerings?

At Maine 207, we host courses developed and taught with you, the educator, in mind. We understand the importance of instructors knowing the material, but find that it's equally important that they believe in the tools that they are providing. It is this enthusiasm, we feel, that sets our courses apart from others.

Here at Maine Township District 207, we pride ourselves on the vast array of experience offered by our staff. By promoting and supporting their unrelenting desire to improve, we have successfully developed an outstanding internal system highlighted by our phenomenal teachers. Our instructors have years of experience both implementing and teaching strategies in Problem Based Learning and Cooperative Learning in the classroom, and Maine Township is fully immersed in the Google Apps for Education Universe from the top down.

Why come experience what Maine 207 has to offer?

The "why" question is one that teachers will often hear from their students, such as "Why should I learn Calculus, when am I going to use this?"

Fortunately for us, we find the answer to "Why?" is easy. You should come because it will help make your classroom more enjoyable for both you and your students!

Our goal here at Maine 207 is to provide all educators with new tools and further hone those existing to make their profession easier. The world of teaching is similar to the world of physics; we want to create a system where our results far exceed the tremendous effort that you, the educator, puts in!
