Roberto Cruz Leadership Academy
**Weekly Update** 01/08/21 Vol. 21
We are ready for 2021 Jaguars!
Happy New Year to all of our families and friends! I wanted to take a moment to welcome all of our Jaguars back to school for an exciting 2nd semester. The outlook for this year remains optimistic as are hoping for new opportunities. We have a new President who will be inaugurated on Jan. 20th, 2021 and as a country, we are hopefully turning the corner on this Pandemic.
I want to reemphasize the importance of wearing a mask and staying home right now. We would like all of our Jaguars back in healthy condition as we have many goals yet to accomplish. In speaking of Goals, I would like to share the 3 goals that I have for our school!
2. Financial Goal: I would like to save $500 as a school to purchase a GIANT School Flag that we can put in front of our building.
3. Physical Goal: I would like every Jaguar in the school to be able to run a mile in less than 10:00 minutes.
Jaguars, if we are able to meet this Physical Goal when we come back onto campus, I am willing to buy 30 large Costco pizzas for our school! I know we can do this!
Parents- Thank you for all your support this school year and I do look forward to hearing from you. All of the parents have access to my cell phone and I encourage you to call me and check-in. Let's have an amazing 2021!
Principal Palomo
