In The Middle
A newsletter to and for the parents of CLMS - 6/7/19
Message from the Principal
Dear Parents and Guardians,
The last few days were very good. We were able to see kids and staff interacting and saying their goodbyes. I know that the 8th graders hold a very special spot in our hearts. Our staff has three years of memories. Our staff has three years of the awkwardness that is middle school. We have seen them grow from little kids into the next version of themselves.
They come to the middle school so ready to have the freedom that our setting allows. They are so ready for it. Three years later they are done with us and ready to leave. We have helped them grow and take many steps to figuring it out. It always gets me when I see the kids tear up at the end of the year, but what really tells me I am in the right place is when I see the grizzled veteran staff misty eyed as well. It is the way of things, the clock only runs in one direction and it has been fun to be here with your kids.
