Admin Professionals Day - April 27th
- Send Office staff "Out to Lunch"
- PTO Board to cover the office
- Office staff will choose what day they want to go
First Day Shirts for 2016-2017
- Will gather quotes from vendors
- Discussed various styles...Baseball style is up next in our rotation
- Will aim for final decision by early June
Volunteer Thank You Breakfast - May 23rd @ 9:10
- Group email will be sent for items to bring
- Volunteer invites will be sent by Brittany
Vice President, Committee Updates
Dine to Donate
- Kona Ice card sale...flyers go home on 4/29
- Waiting on updates from City Barbecue and Hot Box
Movie Night
- Moving to an afternoon session for May 6th
- Right after school...pick-up @ 6:00
- Seven volunteers secured right now...need five more
- Would teachers be interested in volunteering?
Field Day
- No updates...all is on track at this point
- Volunteer list will be reviewed and emails sent to those who showed interest
- Free Kona Ice for all HRE students!
Rocket Rewards
- Labels contest will run April 25th through April 29th
- Flyers will go home on Friday, April 22nd
- Each grade level that reaches 1000 points will get open seating at lunch
- 2000 points will be open lunch AND extra recess
Mornings with Moms
- Went well!
- Made approximately $1400
Recycling
- Bin is full...will be sending soon
- Received info on Shoe recycling program...will try to start this year and pair it with Walk-a-thon...More info will be communicated
Staff appreciation
- Olympic theme
- Each day is planned with events...will be exciting!

School Supply Kit
- Finalized...all is good
Rocket Challenge Walk-a-thon
- DJ has confirmed
- Flyers will be made a sent the first week of May
Book Fair
- Book fair made approximately $9000 in sales during Morning with Moms
- Looking forward to Literacy Night this evening!

Wall Projects
- Shared that we presented to the HSSF Board on 4/21
- Discussed the progress of the Lego Wall
STEM Scouts
- Shared information on programming from Boy Scouts
- Will communicate with HRE families
Old Business
Flower Sales
- April 27th delivery
- Items have been prepaid...so that should help
- Pick-up is from noon to 6:00 pm
- Hanging baskets have been ordered to sell the day of
- Possibly send a Skylert that day to remind families
- Discussed vacant spots and possible names to fill those areas
- Carnival is a big need at this point
Blood Drive
- Will be the same night as Fine Arts Night
- Will be held in the Mobile Unit in the HRE parking lot
- Incentives will be offered to students for donors
New Business
Pinheads/Fundzing.com
- Possible fund raising opportunity
- School would receive 20% of sales
- Will look at what businesses are available after May 1st
