Message from Principal Cullinane

Good afternoon Nashoba students and families,

Thank you for your cooperation in filling out the survey we sent out this past Tuesday. It is important that every family complete the survey for each NRHS student so we know if a student will be coming in for hybrid learning or staying remote. Here is the link for the survey: https://forms.gle/JAaCsejUyEm5uGG8A If you did not fill it out yet, please do so by this Tuesday (February 2nd) at 3pm.

As a reminder, we will be following up with families selecting hybrid with cohort grouping information along with an opportunity for families to make special requests.

Additionally, there is a petition circulating from students regarding the hybrid learning plan. This was created by individual students and is not sanctioned by the administration.

Big picture

From the Nurse

Hello Nashoba Families,

I hope you are all staying warm this week. Thank you to those who have sent in medication orders for your children as we prepare for hybrid learning in March. Students who require an Epipen or inhaler may carry it on them provided we have a medication order in the health office. Please reach out to your healthcare provider to request a medication order if your student needs an Epipen, inhaler, insulin, or any other medications during the school day.

While the numbers of COVID-19 cases in the nation and the state may be plateauing, we continue to see a high number of cases in our local communities. Please continue to be vigilant with your hand washing, physical distancing, and mask wearing when with others not in your household, including in cars, and in any public areas. These mitigation factors can reduce transmission and keep your family safe and healthy.

If you know of someone who needs to quarantine, please reach out and offer grocery/ supplies delivery if you are able. Quarantines are often unexpected and a little kindness goes a long way. If your student has been required to quarantine due to a close contact or a positive test result, please let us know so we can reach out and offer assistance. A letter of clearance from the Board of Health, Contact Tracing Team, or your pediatrician will be required in order for your student to return to any in person activities.

Thank you and wishing you all a safe, healthy, and warm and cozy weekend!
