Free programs take place during the following time, dates and locations:
Nov. 1-23: Gilder Lehrman Civil War 150 Travelling Exhibit
This exhibition explores the Civil War, the most transformative period in US history. Drawing upon letters, personal accounts, and images, Civil War 150 invites Americans to understand how soldiers, presidents, freedmen, and families struggled to address the nature of democracy and citizenship, the human toll of civil war, and the role of a president in wartime.

Portrayed by Jim Sayre, the 16th President of the United States is brought back to life in a presentation that explores his ties with the Bluegrass State and how they affected him as a leader and as a man. Presented by the KY Humanities Council.
