Calling all Junior High Students!
On Saturday, September 7, the 11th Annual Nick’s Knights Special Needs Football Clinic will take place. This clinic has grown tremendously over the last few years, and we are looking for more junior high students to participate beyond our athletes. This has been such a meaningful experience for our students and one that demonstrates true service. If interested, please RSVP to Joe Carlton at joe.carlton@gmail.com by September 1. Eighth graders can earn service hours for Confirmation for participating in this event.
Details:
Time: 12:30 – 3:30 p.m.
Location: SPB Football Field
Schedule:
12:30 PM – Set up
12:45pm – Registration at football field- located behind the church
1:00pm – Football Skill Stations & Fun Games
2:30pm – 3:00pm – Awards Ceremony, Prizes and Pizza Party
3:00pm – Clean up
Morning Arrival
- Students arriving by car are not permitted in the building until 7:40 a.m. Remember, if you need to drop off your child earlier, you can enroll him or her in the Before Care program.
- Make sure your child is ready to leave your car before you stop. If you need to take some time with him or her, park in the parking lot and walk your child over to the school. No child is permitted to walk across the parking lot on his/her own.
- Remember when children are exiting your car, all should exit on the passenger side for safety reasons.
- As you leave, please proceed to Blue Ribbon Way (exiting on Wilson Mills) only.
- Buses have the right of way. Please allow them down the driveway before your car. Often bus drivers will allow cars to go first, but never count on it!
- Give your child enough time to walk to his/her homeroom. As the weather changes, the car rider line becomes longer and time gets later. Develop the habit of getting here with many minutes to spare!
Thank you for your cooperation and understanding as the safety of all of our students is our foremost concern.
Clinic News for Kindergarten, Grade 7, and New Students
We are required to report immunization records to the State Board of Health for all Kindergartners, 7th graders, and students new to Saint Paschal Baylon. If you have not already done so, please send the completed immunization forms to my attention in the Clinic by Friday, September 7.
If you have any questions, please email me or call the clinic at 440-442-6766, ext. 15.
Thank you,
Mrs. Avivah Kupfer

Playground/Lunchroom Volunteer Sign Ups
The links to sign up for playground/lunchroom supervision for parents/guardians of students in Grades 7-8 are now live!
We are asking that each family (mom, dad, grandma, etc.) choose at least two days to volunteer each time slot being 11:00-1:00. We are so grateful for the help!
This is a great way for you to interact with your child and his/her classmates during the school day! Lunch/Recess Volunteers should arrive to school at 11:00 and check in at the office. Duties will include supervising students at recess, escorting students to the cafeteria from recess, and supervising in the cafeteria. Volunteers will be with one teacher and two "core" volunteers each day to help direct. Remember that after your two volunteer time slots, you are done for the year, as each month is assigned to a different grade.
Thank you again for your time and service to the students and teachers of SPB! Simply click on the grade level link to pick a time convenient for you: Grade 8 or Grade 7
