The premise of the lawsuit is that social media has negatively impacted youth mental health, and there has been an impact on school districts as we have had to address these impacts through staffing, time, education, etc. The lawsuit will seek both financial support to cover the costs of mental health support in schools, and a change in how social media markets to youth and the parameters they put in place to protect students.
