Syllabus Makeover Challenge - Part 1 (Standard/Accessible)

Creating a course syllabus and making it available to students is an essential instructional responsibility. Often, the syllabus gives students the first impression about what to expect from a course. In this workshop, you will create a standard (accessible) syllabus or update your current one so it is accessible and incorporates UDL principles. A template will be provided for a quick-start.

Time: 1:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m.

Location: Online in Zoom

Register for access to the workshop by Wed. 8/18.

Syllabus Makeover Challenge - Part 2 (Visual)

Pairing a syllabus with an interactive activity can help students learn about the course requirements and get them excited about what they will learn. In this workshop, you will give your syllabus a “makeover” into a visual syllabus that can be used with a fun activity. A template will be provided for a quick-start.

Date: Thursday, August 19, 2021
