Claus for Giving
The holidays are just around the corner, and we know that this time of year can be difficult for families that are stretched financially. If you or someone you know within our Deer Creek High School Community could use extra support for the Holidays, please contact DCHS Counselor, Jinni Fields by December 3rd. We love our students and their families and we truly want to help. All names will remain confidential.
If your family would like to help with a donation, we are encouraging you to send gift cards in the amount of $20 each. This will enable us to spread the help to as many families as possible. The gift cards we are requesting are for WalMart, Target, Amazon, and Kohl's. We are also collecting 7-11 and OnCue gas gift cards. Please deliver your gift cards to Wendy Frailey in the Media Center by December 10th.

Important Attendance Reminder
- You are not able to take "Virtual days" or "Distance Learning days".
- Medical absences do not count against the 10 absences but you must provide documentation from a physician or licensed counselor.
We have been working hard to notify all students who have had at least 5 absences in the first semester. Please continue to monitor your student's absences and make sure they are at school as much as possible.
Please make sure you contact our attendance line anytime your student will not be present at school. While it is great to contact the teacher directly it is also important to let the office know so we can correctly code your attendance.

Deer Creek Communication Platform
Deer Creek School District is embarking on a new communication platform to include a Deer Creek App that is designed to enable parents, staff and students to stay informed and up-to-date on events, important issues, general information, emergency notifications and site based activities. The Deer Creek App will work conjointly with the SchoolMessenger App (registration only required one time) as a notification system. Once a parent has registered with the SchoolMessenger App, they will only need to use the Deer Creek App for all things Deer Creek!
