Captain's Log 5.14.2020
Newsletter for the Lansing Elementary school staff
May 15, 2020
Who can believe we are at the end of another school-year? This year has thrown unexpected changes and circumstances not only at our school, but at the world. None of us could have foreseen the pandemic and the resulting crisis. I couldn't be more proud of our staff. I am proud of the consistent good work you did to provide excellent continuous learning opportunities for our students. I'm even more proud of the care you gave students and our families during these difficult times.
Schools are the bedrock of a community and you proved the importance of your job and your role! Thank you for everything you did to rise to the challenge of the circumstances and provide some stability and engagement for our students. We have one more week! Finish strong and take the time to connect with some closure activities for our students. They are going to miss you. The finish line is near-you've got this!
Dr. Mindy Wells
Assistant Principal @ Lansing Elementary School
