Dear Norwood Families,

We are now halfway through the school year and I am so proud of all our students for their perseverance as we continue to adjust and respond to the conditions of the pandemic and gradually move towards a more normal year. The 2nd marking period is now over for our middle school students and report cards will be available next week. We will send a message when they are posted in HAC for your review.


While the community continues to be an area with a high incidence and positivity rate, masking is required. Please remind your student to wear a mask in school.

The second marking period is now over for our middle school. When you get a message they are ready... You can view your child's report card through the Home Access Center (click here). Reports cards will be sent home with the Students.

COVID Update

Due to the overwhelming emails, calls, and limited nursing staff related to COVID-19, we cannot guarantee a response from the school nursing team at this time. Please know that the nurses are working above and beyond to try and get through all inquiries and are currently managing the recent surge.


For the team to evaluate all COVID -19 student cases and ensure that we contact parents that need additional guidance, we are asking parents to complete either form (links below) that is appropriate to your family situation. Families may need to complete both forms if necessary. A school nursing team member will only contact you if your information has been reviewed and does not align with quarantine/isolation protocols.

Notification for Positive/Symptomatic Cases of COVID-19

If your child tests positive or is experiencing symptoms of COVID-19, complete the following form. The information you provide will determine when your child is able to return to school.

Notification for Close Contact to a Positive COVID-19

If you child is a close contact to an individual outside of school that has tested positive for COVID- 19, complete this form. The information you provide will determine when your child is able to return to school.
