Achieving Together ... ONE Family
A Message from Mrs. Hyatt
What a beautiful weekend! A touch of fall is in the air. If your child brings a sweat shirt or light jacket for the cool mornings, we are asking you put their name on the tag inside of the item. This will help us find the owner if it gets misplaced.
MAP assessments went fantastic for our 2nd - 5th graders. We will continue this week with 1st grade assessments and any students absent last week. (see details below). This information will show us all your child knows and where we can help them grow. It is important your child is on time each day of testing. Information about your child's MAP assessment will be shared with you soon.
FAST Testing is another way we look at how our children are performing. K5 and 1st grade work with the teacher one on one while second graders complete an online assessment for reading and math. If you have any questions, please check with your child's teacher.
Masks are highly recommended but not required in Rock Hill Schools. If you prefer your child wear a mask, please consider sending a mask with them each everyday. Remember to wash them each weekend.
Please help you child remember to bring their computer to school everyday. *Computers will remain at school during testing.
A huge thank you to our staff for all of the support they are giving the children as well as the adjustment they continue to make each day during this trying time.
Once again, we are blessed to have all of you here learning and growing at Richmond Drive.
