What to expect the last week of school

K5 Promotion Program

We have been very busy this week in K5C. The children have been working very hard on our kindergarten program, and I think you will be delighted to see what they have accomplished. Our program will be presented on Tuesday, May 10th at 10:00 in the cafetorium of the main elementary school building. Your child may leave with you right after the program. Any late stay children will return to the Primary Center with me.

Your child will need to wear his or her performance dress for our dress rehearsal on Monday, May 9th AND Tuesday, May 10th for the program.

1. No tennis shoes or backless shoes for boys or girls

(Backless shoes fall off easily when going on and off the risers.)

2. No T-shirts or denim for boys or girls, please.

3. Nice collared dress shirts and pants for boys.

4. Dresses/nice blouses and skirts for girls. (Sleeveless tops and dresses should be covered with a sweater or shrug.)

Dress rehearsal - The children should arrive at school by 8:00 in their performance dress clothing. Pictures will be taken for the CD during the rehearsal. The children may bring their uniform to change into after the rehearsal.

The children should arrive at school by 8:00 in their performance dress clothing. The children may bring a uniform to change into if they will be returning to the Primary Center with me. You may take your child with you following the program. If you are taking your child with you, please do not send backpacks on Tuesday (or please plan to leave them at the Primary Center.)

Summer Celebration!

I will send home pencil boxes, umbrellas, sleeping mats and “sleeping things” (for children not attending summer Kindercamp) and Friday folders. These items do not need to be returned.

Please do not send backpacks.

End of school brunch from 8:30-9:15...send them hungry!

Children are welcome to leave anytime after the brunch at 9:15.

Any video or pictures that are sent to you are for your personal enjoyment. For the safety of our students, we ask that they not be posted online or distributed in any way.

Thank you for your kind understanding.
