For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.” Ephesians 2:10

Surrender and Spiritual Disciplines

Since the Christmas Break, our chapel services have revolved around the theme of surrender. As part of knowing our identity in Christ, we realize that our identity is wrapped up in our surrender to His will for our lives. Through repentance and relationship with Him, we realize the benefits of submitting to His authority and the earthly authorities in our lives. In this submission, we find a life of peace and fulfillment.

After the Winter Break, our chapel services and advisory groups will focus on the importance of a variety of spiritual disciplines in our lives. Prayer, Bible Study, Worship, and Ministry are all important components of the life of a believer. We want our middle school students to have an understanding of what these disciplines can look like in their everyday lives.

Please be in prayer for our Middle School Spiritual Emphasis Week - April 5th-8th!

All middle school students are also invited to participate either as an individual act or as a group (i.e. singing, karate, playing an instrument, dancing, telling jokes, etc.). Parents will be responsible to complete the online registration form and attend the auditions which are scheduled to be held on Friday, February 26 from 3:30-4:45 in the wooden gym. We are looking forward to a GREAT show!
