What Is ATP? Why Is It Important?

ATP is essentially the cell's currency. Imagine glucose is like the $100 and ATP is a $1. You have to choose between a $100 bill and 100 $1 bills. So let’s say you go to buy a candy bar with a $100 bill but they won’t give you change. So to buy a candy bar would you use the Glucose or the ATP.
