Leukemia
Symptoms
- Anemia
- Easily bleed
- Weakness or lack of energy
- Non-diet or exorcise weight loss
- Frequent illness
- Headaches
- Rash
- Frequent ache in bones
- Blood in excrement
- Swollen lymph nodes
- Sweating while sleeping
Diagnosis
- There is no test for the early detection of leukemia
- A doctor will look for:
- Swollen lymph nodes
- Swollen gums
- Enlarged liver/spleen
- Bruises
- Rashes on the skin
- A blood count will be done to see if the patient has less or more of a blood count
- X-rays, CT scans, and MRI's are used to detect where the cancer is located
Causes
- There is no known exact cause of leukemia
- It is suggested by some that leukemia can be genetic
- Having a previous treatment for another cancer (especially at a young age) can make one susceptible to leukemia

Treatments
- There is no cure
- Can be treated with kimotherapy and radiation treatment
