Week 17

2 Quarters Down, 2 Days To Go!

This first semester at ABC Stewart has positively FLOWN by! We are soaking up every minute with our students before our long holiday break. The next two school days have so many fun things in store, but that means it is especially important that all parents and families understand the details of each day's schedules! Please read all of the information below carefully and let us know if you have any questions about the last week of school!

Weekly Overview:

Santa Shoppe - Monday/Tuesday (more info below)
Scholastic Book Fair - Monday/Tuesday
All School Pajama Day - Tuesday
Classroom Holiday Parties - Tuesday
NO SCHOOL - Wednesday-Friday

Santa Shoppe!

Please check backpacks this evening for your child's Santa Shoppe envelope. Use the envelope with your child to create a list of people your child will be shopping for, along with a budget for each person. If you prefer not to select an exact dollar amount for each person, we will help your child select gifts for family and friends listed on the envelope. Please do not send your child's envelope to school until Monday, December 19th. Your child will be responsible for his/her money.

Parents are welcome to stop by the Santa Shoppe and Scholastic Book Fair to do some holiday shopping of their own. Santa Shoppe is open for visitors between the hours of 11:30- 1:00 pm and 3:00-4:00 pm on Monday and Tuesday.

8:30- 9:30 am - Children’s Garden

9:35-10:35 am - Horizons

10:35-11:20 am - Seedlings & Saplings

11:30-1:00 pm - Lunch/Recess

1:00-1:45 pm - 1st Year

1:45-2:30 pm - 2nd & 3rd Year

2:30-3:10 pm - 4th, 5th & 6th Year

Teacher Spotlight!

We would like to congratulate Ms. Whitney King as the recipient of the 2022 Reams Family Award for Excellence in Teaching!

Ms. King is a natural Montessorian. She exudes peace and positivity with her students and peers. She is a strong leader, a compassionate teacher, and a knowledgeable co-teacher. Her ability to give each and every child the support, focus and attention he or she deserves is admirable. She works diligently to continually better herself as a teacher, and educator. She understands the importance of continued education and is always eager for any opportunity to advance her knowledge.

Fred and Karen Reams, former Bartholomew County residents, founded the award with the Heritage Fund Foundation in 2007. The Reams Family Award for Excellence in Teaching honors outstanding educators teaching in private schools serving Bartholomew County.
