Clark Middle School PTSO
SBDM Parent Elections
In Kentucky, each school has a School-Based Decision-Making (SBDM) Council composed of the principal, elected teachers, and elected parents who make many of the most important decisions about how their school will work. Serving on the council is a wonderful way to learn about our school, work closely with teachers, and help make Clark Middle even more successful than it is now.
The parent members of the council are elected by the parents, they receive training and serve one-year terms. It's now time to choose our parent members for 2013-2014. Nomination forms and fact sheets will be sent home with every 5th, 6th and 7th grader the week of April 8. Deadline to return nomination forms is April 17. The election will be held on April 24. If you would like more information, contact us at email@example.com or call Jan Beum at 749-7361.
PTSO Committee Nominations
At our April 22nd PTSO meeting we will be accepting nominations for our PTSO Board for the 2013-2014 school year. If you, or someone you know is interested in running for president, vice-president, secretary or treasurer, please attend the meeting on the 22nd or notify us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
The Clark Middle School PTSO is a very active community committed to supporting parents, teachers and students alike to create the richest learning environment for our kids that we can. Plus, we have a lot of fun in the process! If you would like more information on the PTSO or specific information on any of the positions up for election, please direct your questions to the above e-mail address or call 744-0427 and leave a message for the PTSO and a current officer will contact you back directly.
