The length of the testing time each day varies from 60 to 90 minutes. During testing, please make sure your child has a good night's rest, has wired earbuds, and brings a fully charged Chromebook to school. Book Joy Event

Spring has officially arrived! On Thursday, May 4, 2023, Thomas Jefferson Middle School will host the third annual family literacy event. "Book Joy," celebrates our students' literacies by providing the best young adult books for FREE! From 4 - 6 PM, students will participate in an outdoor event where they can select books to build their home libraries.

All students that attend the family literacy event will enter a raffle contest to possibly win a BMX bike. Get ready for an afternoon of amazing young adult literature, music, prizes, and fun! We need your support to make this event a success. Please plan to attend the Book Joy event with your family. If the weather does not cooperate, Thursday, May 11th will be the rain date.

TJMS Counseling

The TJMS School Counselors have been busy monitoring academic performance and meeting with students to help support them in their classes. We also have been working with the students to select their electives for next year. Please remind your student that during the fourth marking period it is still important to attend school on a regular basis, turn in all assignments in a timely manner, and seek assistance when needed. If you have any questions regarding your student, please contact your student’s grade level Counselor.
