Beowulf And Grendel is an Old English poem that mostly takes place in Scandinavia. In this poem,Beowulf, comes to the help of Hroðgar, the king of Danes, whose mead hall (in Heorot) has been under attack by a monster known as Grendel. After Beowulf fatally wounds Grendel's arm (as seen above), He is awarded with lavish gifts from king Hroðgar and Beowulf lives happily ever after.
