Holiday Planning Discussed at Virtual Meeting
This holiday season, deciding how to include, or not (!), the person you are caring for in family festivities, can make the difference between an enjoyable family visit or a stressful holiday. If she doesn't know your children any more, she might feel embarrassed of that fact. TIP: celebrate with her on another day with the people she does remember. He may not be able to hear when family hub-bub makes conversation difficult. TIP: take him to a quiet corner or to another room to visit.
Join the conversation this Wednesday to mull over plans, or hear of some alternative celebrations. Bring your questions, share your stress with other caregivers, and know that you're in the company of those who understand.
You're not alone! Join us on Zoom at 7:00pm on Wednesday, December 1.
