100th day celebration!
We had so much fun wearing our pajamas on the 100th day of school. We have been working hard to count to 100 by 1's, 5's and 10's. Take a look below at some of the fun things we did on the 100th day of school!
100th day necklaces
On the 100th day of school, we practiced counting to 100 using fruit loops. We then used these fruit loops to make a 100th day necklace!
100th day snack!
We created a 100th day snack mix. We used different food items, counting by 10's to 100. We then put our snack mix into a bag to eat at home!
100th day hats!
We had so much fun decorating hats for the 100th day! We colored in 100 circles inside the number 100.
Dr. Seuss Week!
We had so much fun reading and completing different activities for Dr. Seuss week! We created crazy socks, did a mini STEM project to build The Cat in the Hat's hat, created Dr. Seuss' 'The Cat in the Hat' and celebrated Dr. Seuss's birthday! We also talked about what we wanted to be when we grew up and created a hot air balloon to decorate our door for the month of March!
Celebrating St. Patrick's Day!
We did a lot of fun St. Patrick's day activities this year! We used lucky charms in math centers to practice sorting and creating a bar graph. We then enjoyed the yummy treat! We were also surprised by a leprechaun who came for a visit in our classroom. The leprechaun was up to no good, messed up our classroom and led us on a scavenger hunt to find a pot of gold. We used our inference skills to follow each clue and it eventually led us to the gold. We also created a rainbow and a pot of gold.
