PJHS Mission Statement

PJHS Mission statement: Dedicated to growing students academically and socially to be productive and responsible members of the community

Note from the Principal- Jennifer Garcia

Dear Parents,

We've concluded the fourth six weeks and ready to start the fifth six weeks. Eighth graders were visited by high school counselors to develop career choices and core classes for next year's Freshmen schedules. Our current sixth and seventh graders will be registering during their Social Studies classes mid-April. Students who have completed the registration process will bring home a confirmation schedule for a parent/guardian signature. Notes and/or changes can be submitted on that document.

As we enter the state assessment season, please encourage your child to get adequate rest the night before testing (see dates below). As usual, we will have free breakfast for all our students on the day of testing. Please encourage your child to do their best on state assessment because this data will help us make schedules and staffing decisions for next school year. As the end of the year approaches, we are looking at ALL student data collected throughout the school year to make summer learning decisions.
