Jesse James' Information

Jesse James was born on September 5, 1847 in Clay County, Missouri. He was born on a farm and went to church with his brothers Frank and Robert James and his sister Susan James. His parents are Robert and Zerelda James. Jesse didn’t go to school. Jesse became an outlaw when people from the north tried to kill him and his family. He was married on April 12, 1874 and had 4 children. He was murdered on April 3 1882, at age 34.

Why Jesse James is Famous

Jesse James became known when he joined his first gang at age 16. He was shot by a soldier from the north and was only wounded for 1 day. Jim, Cole, John and Bob Younger, him and his brother Frank James, were the leaders of the gang. Over 100 lawmen tried to catch him and his brother, but they couldn’t. The made the prize the catch them 10.000.00$. When they robbed the North field, Minnesota him and his brother were the only ones that escaped. When Jesse James was 34 he was shot and killed by a guy named Robert Ford.

Character Traits

Jesse was a cruel person. During world War 11 he stole a lot of money and a lot of other valuable things. For example he did the first moving train robbery during the War. He was very disrespectful, once he killed one of the people in his gang because he was not being loyal to him.
