Service Project

Thank you so much to those who have brought their item for our service project! So far, those who have brought in their item have accepted the double up challenge. Middle school will come pick up our box at the end of the week.

Thank you for your donation to our local firemen!


We will do our best to decorate our donation box this week!

Thursday, September 29th:

Math Unit 1 Test. This test covers Chapters 1,2,3,4 as well as the 10 vocabulary words. A Unit 1 study guide will be sent home on Thursday, September 22.

Practice Rainbow Math and Math Vocabulary Cards as needed.

(Keep cards in zipper pocket of binder when not practicing)

Sign & Return Papers

Sign and Return papers sent home on Wednesday are due back on each Friday. Please send the plastic folder with the signed papers back as soon as possible if you have not done so already. A note will come home this week if I do not have your child's folders back by Wednesday.


Sign papers will often included some checked classwork as well as tests.

This Week's Math Lessons

This week we will start Chapter 4: Data and Graphing

We will be learning how to use tally charts, pictographs, and bar graphs.

Science

This week we will explore the science of apples for Johnny Appleseed week! I would LOVE to see the kids bring apples for their snack this week! We will start Unit B: Animals on September 26.

Social Studies

This week we will talk about biographies with lessons on Johnny Appleseed and how he was a good citizen.
