SCHOOL-WIDE WEEKLY FITNESS CHALLENGE................ YOGA & STRETCHING!
This week's school-wide fitness challenge is yoga and stretching! Sometimes it is very important to balance exercise with slowing down to stretch your muscles out. Try some of the videos below to better your overall fitness. Try your best and email yourself doing these videos to Mr. B!
Yoga For The Classroom - Yoga With Adriene
Cosmic Kids is a free app in the App Store that has a lot of different Yoga and stretching videos for kids! Some videos tell stories, some have superheroes, some have animals, there are TONS of choices. Just download the app and follow along with your virtual instructor. Below is an example video from the app itself.

CHALLENGE: BALLOON ACTIVITIES
Sometimes using extra "equipment" during a workout or a game can making things fun in a new way. The video below is an example of taking something ordinary and making it a fun new game or activity. Record yourself trying any of the balloon activities in the video below OR make your own activities up with any ordinary "equipment" you have at home.
CHALLENGE: Do something fun and active
Most of our days are spent in front of a screen and in a chair. Even though we need to practice social distancing, we all still need to be active. Being active for at least 60 minutes a day helps your body stay healthy, mind stay sharp, and self stay smiling. You can do this many different ways... riding your bike, shooting some baskets, racing in the backyard, exercising with your family. Send Mr. B a video or a picture of you doing something fun and active.
CHALLENGE: Do at least 30 minutes of videos every session
