Hawk Happenings
May 9th - 20th
Here's what's happening at Spring Lake....
THANK YOU PTA!
Our BOGO Book Fair was a huge success and so much fun for students. With the rewards earned through the Scholastic Book Fair program, the PTA will be able to give every child in the school a book to read over the summer! Watch for those books coming home next week. Thank you to Mrs. Deschamps, Mrs. Frisby and their amazing book fair team!
We are finishing up our assessment testing this week with make-up sessions next week for those who were absent or missed sections of the test. We appreciate your continued support to make sure your children are getting a good nights sleep, eat a good breakfast and arrive at school on time. We are in the HOME STRETCH with finishing our assessments and the students are doing great! WAY TO GO HAWKS!

Congratulations on your Retirement Mrs. Heelis!
Mrs. Heelis, our wonderful and dedicated pre-school teacher, will be retiring at the end of this school year. Mrs. Heelis has been teaching at Spring Lake since it opened in 2002 and even taught my own daughter, Lyndsie (who is now 24) when she was only 4 years old. Mrs. Heelis has blessed the lives of so many of our Spring Lake children. We wish her all the best in her future adventures with her family. Congratulations Mrs. Heelis!
