Important Message - MBMS AVID Program
Hello Mustang Families,
As you begin to think about electives for next year we would like to invite you to learn more about the AVID Program at MBMS. AVID is a program to help students develop the skills they need to be successful in college or university. In AVID we focus on not only grades but developing skills of writing, reading, collaboration and organization. In addition to academic work students build community and family relationships while learning more about their college and university options. There is an application process for the AVID elective so please be aware that an application will be posted in your student’s Homeroom Canvas page the first week of March. If you would like to learn more about AVID please join us for a short virtual presentation and Q/A session at AVID Family Night on March 3rd at 6pm. You may contact our AVID Coordinator, Ms. Melis, for any questions or a link to the AVID Night Zoom at email@example.com
