Kindergarten News...

from Mrs. Spruill!

October 13

I apologize for not getting this out yesterday. I am sick so was pretty exhausted yesterday after school. The kids kept asking me, all day, when I was getting my voice back and exactly where did it go. I just kept saying, I didn't know because it ran away. They think I am a weirdo! haha!

I sent another iStation information handout home on Thursday in their Wetmore folder. It is a program we use regularly at school and it is important for them to do at least one time a week at home. Make sure when your child is on it, they are on it for a minimum of 20 minutes, otherwise it will cycle them through the same lesson over and over. For login instructions click and information about iStation click on this LINK.

Our fabulous PTA is in need of more volunteers, please contact Sarah Wilson if you are interested in helping at Our PTA does an exceptional job and they are always in need of any help! They do so much for our children and for the teachers!

Our Fall Festival is quickly approaching! This is a FREE event put on by our PTA! Plan to attend and come have some fun! There are lots of free things to do...there is even a dunking booth where you get to dunk a teacher (you have to pay to do this though).

Remember to read a few of the books every night in the RED, Read EveryDay, bags and to be completing HW with your child. The HW is in the binder behind the HW tab and is due on Fridays.

Report cards will go home October 21st. Remember to send back the envelope signed and keep the report card.

Please check out our newsletters and my class website! Lots, lots, and lots of information on all our class happenings in those two links! I will not be updating my website this week...
