Spring 2020
....The Birds Are Still Chirping
- Spring is here even though our world has been dealt a virus that has caused havoc in our local and global communities.
- Spring is here even though in Utah we experienced 2 significant earthquakes (5.7 and 4.6 in magnitude) that literally and figuratively rocked our foundation even more than we have already felt.
- Spring is here even though the collective consciousness of fear has reached exponential numbers and is so palpable that if you are sensitive to energy like I am you may be feeling extra tired, heaviness in your chest, worn down and may even be exhibiting cold symptoms; stress will do that. As research indicates, the mind-body connection is intertwined especially when stress and healing outcomes are involved.
I believe that the "glass is constantly overflowing with an abundance of water." What is my proof of this? Spring Is Here...look at all that is blossoming in front of our eyes. When I looked outside the window on Wednesday after feeling completely shaken up from the first earthquake and saw several birds chirping and squirrels playing in the snow on the mountainside behind our house I literally said to myself, "Wow. If the birds are still chirping, the squirrels are still playing and Spring has quietly arrived, all must still be well." I believe the saying used by one of the original positivity gurus Louise Hay, "All is well in my world" can be true even if we have to look for it in the life that continues to exist in nature. That is my perspective. Our world has survived some pretty horrific things in its history. As a collective consciousness I believe it is possible that meditation, prayer, faith, hope, staying positive, being smart, following the practices of social distancing and good hygiene(the latter of which we really need to do regardless of whether someone has a common cold or COVID-19) can help us get through this challenging time. And it will.
As a highly spiritual person, I meditate daily and write in my gratitude/meditation journal that all of us will experience peace, global healing, a vaccine for all viruses, and a tremendous amount of love as we move passed this experience.
Even in our darkest hour, we can light a candle.
In Love,
Candice
