What is a Trade Union?
A trade union is a group of people who join together to negotiate pay, hours, benefits, and working conditions. Union members and supporters of unions claim that they are necessary because the people that run companies want to pay as little as possible. In the USA they are usually called labour unions .
What they do?
Collective Barganing- they will meet with business owners in order to get the workers what they want Benefits- Early unions will give their workers unemployment pay if they was badly hurt unfairly fired or sick. Politics- They usualy work to get laws passed on their cause. They sometimes run strikes if the collective barganing doesnt work.
