PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE

Wow! What a whirlwind start to the week. I am so proud of our tamariki, our staff and our community for the way they have all managed the developments in the Covid space. People have been considerate of others, respectful and very understanding of our situation. Thank you for being amazing.

Among all this, it is wonderful to see many activities continuing for our tamariki. Swimming at the Aquatic Centre, our own swimming lessons at school (how cool is it that we still have our pool), interschool hockey and Shwoquest are all underway. The next set of changes from around 15th March will ensure we can do more and more in this space.


Next week is Matua Ricky's last week with us and his farewell will be on Friday 11th March. While we cannot have a lot of people involved, if you have any messages you wish to share, please email them to me (principal@levineast.school.nz).


We will update you on any changes around Covid requirements/guidelines, as they come to hand.

Board of Trustee Elections

Elections for a new Board will be held in September. If you are interested in becoming a member of our Board and would like to know the process and what is involved, please contact Mrs Barnard (Board Secretary) at our office, or speak with any of the current Board members, and consider coming along to our next Board meeting on Monday21st March 2022 - 6pm in the school boardroom.

The school will be closed for a Teacher Only Day on Friday 18th March.
