Dear Marysville Families,
We will say goodbye to all of our Middle School Students and Staff, wishing them well as they transition to Kellogg Middle School. This is a great learning opportunity for our students and strengthens our Southeast neighborhood connections.
We will be holding two special promotion ceremonies next week.
- 8th Grade Promotion Wednesday June 9th 4:00 -5:30 PM
- 5th Grade Promotion Thursday June 10th 4:00 - 5:30 PM
Report cards will be mailed home after June 16th.
Class placement letters and school supply lists will be included in the K-4th grade report card envelopes.
Information about middle school class schedules and orientation information for 5th - 7th grade students will be sent out from Kellogg to families over the summer. If you don't receive anything from Kellogg by mid August, please reach out to Kellogg School.
If you are returning to Marysville School or going to Kellogg Middle School, keep your district Chromebook for use over the summer.
If you are leaving Portland Public Schools or moving to Highschool, please return your Chromebook device to Marysville before the last day of school.

Summer Arts Academy
Portland Public Schools is excited to announce the 2021 Summer Arts Academy on August 9-20 at Harriet Tubman Middle School. This academy is free and open to our rising 6th-8th grade students who will be attending Kellogg in fall 2021.
Students will have the opportunity to engage in Dance, Music (choir, band, orchestra, jazz), Visual Arts, Theatre, and Technical Theatre with additional minor classes. Prioritization will be given to students who qualify for free and reduced lunch. These details are all subject to change based on COVID-19 guidelines from the state of Oregon. Transportation and meal service will be provided.

$500,000 IN EDUCATION SCHOLARSHIPS AVAILABLE TO STUDENTS
In case you didn’t see it, we are sharing this announcement from ODE about the “Take Your Shot” campaign. There are five $100,000 Oregon College Savings Plan scholarships available for Oregonians age 12 to 17 who have received at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine by June 27th.
