Fifth Grade News to Know

Crissey Elementary

This is our last week of school before winter break...so hard to believe! The Native American Projects are due tomorrow for Mr. Ferrara and the essay for Mr. Scroggs. Thank you for helping your student during this busy time of year!

This Thursday there is a dine about at Spicy Tuna and a portion of each bill will be donated to the Crissey Parents' Club.

Also on Thursday, second trimester guards will be treated to a pizza party for lunch.

Friday morning we will have our annual Crissey sing along. Friday is also a Crissey Spirit day for students to wear their Crissey gear or red and gray.

If you would like any materials sent home for your student to keep their math skills up during break, please let me know and I will send home some activities and math games. I will not grade anything I send home, but will give the students a reward for their extra effort.

If your student has been reading and completing the Book-It 300 minutes of reading per month but you are not receiving the pizza coupon please let me know. I ask the students monthly and only two or three students respond. It isn't mandatory, but I do want to be sure students that are keeping track of their minutes in their agenda book get their reward.

I hope you have time to relax and enjoy the holidays and I will see everyone back at school on Monday, January 4, 2016.
