As we hurtle into 2 of the busiest weeks of the school year, here are the dates you need to remember!

Dates to remember

Tuesday 13th December – Christmas Lunch for Nursery/Reception/KS1

Tuesday 13th December – Last day of swimming for Y6

Tuesday 13th December - PTFA Christmas Fayre day from 2pm in main school hall. You are welcome to collect your children from their class from 2pm onwards however they will then become your responsibility and will not be able to return to the classroom. Children will not be permitted to go with adults other than family members unless arranged prior to the fayre with the class teacher. Raffle will be drawn at 3:00pm in the main school hall.

Wednesday 14th December – Some members of the school choir will be performing at Morrisons in Bedlington at 2pm.

Thursday 15th December – KS2 Christmas Lunch

Thursday 15th December – KS1 Christmas performance @ 2:30pm in the main school hall. Please wait on the playground near the pupil entrance from 2:15pm onwards.

Friday 16th December – Christmas Jumper day and Christmas crafts for KS1 and KS2. Children are invited to dress in something festive for the day. Christmas films and popcorn in the afternoon.

Tuesday 20th December – Early Years Nativity performance in EYFS outdoor classroom @ 11:00am. A maximum of 2 family members per child please.

Wednesday 21st December – All Star productions @ 2:30pm in main school hall for parents of those performing. Please wait by the pupil entrance from 2:20pm.

Thursday 22nd December – Cycling Santas will be departing from Choppington to deliver gifts and cards to the residents of Beresford Lodge care home. The school choir will join them for a festive performance. Cyclists will be departing at 12:20pm if you’d like to wave them off. A just giving page has been set up and the link is below if you wish to make a donation to help fund further opportunities similar to this and also provide additional resources for school. Friday 23rd December – Christingle service at St Paul’s the Apostle Church @ 10am. Parents are welcome to join us for some carols and a short service.
Reception/Nursery pick up at 1pm.
Carols on the yard from 1:15pm – Please join us for a mince pie and some refreshments followed by some carols on the yard before school finishes for Christmas at 1:30pm.

School will reopen to children on Tuesday 10th January.


In the final week of term, there will be no after school clubs running. Club will remain as normal for this week though (12th - 16th December)
