Term 3 Final Exams & Adjusted Schedule
The end of Term 3 is just 2 weeks away. Students will follow the schedule below that week. You will notice that it is an adjusted schedule to accommodate the loss of instruction for classes that meet on Tuesdays due to inclement weather and the ACT. Please be prepared to make the adjustment in your daily schedule accordingly the week of March 22.

NO SCHOOL
If there is a conflict in your schedule with the assigned exam time, it is extremely important that arrangements are made with the teacher ahead of time to complete the exam during one of the designated make up times. Please be sure to reach out to your teen’s teacher with any questions.
Term 4 Daily Bell Schedule
During term 4 our daily bell schedule will return to a typical full day academic schedule. All cohort students who attend face to face (F2F) and students who remain in distance learning will follow the same daily bell schedule. The schedule is as follows:

Student schedules are viewable in Skyward. Please be flexible as schedules may change as student schedules are filled and class sizes are balanced out. It is the expectation that all students become familiar with their term 4 schedule prior to their first day of classes.

This is the beginning of future videos that will highlight our Academies, our intermediate schools and our elementary schools. I want to thank our student actors who participated in this video. Black Dream Chasers Scholarship
The Black Dream Chasers Scholarship Fund was established by five African American alumnae of Beloit Memorial High School. Their vision is to motivate, encourage, and assist African American young women toward excellence in education.
This scholarship award is meant to provide funds for the purchase of books, supplies and other material for college coursework and college life. Multiple $500 scholarships will be rewarded. Scholarship recipients will be announced in May.
The following criteria will be used to select the recipients:
- Beloit Memorial African American Female students graduating in June of 2021 and enrolling in college or trade school in the fall of 2021
- A cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or higher (Copy of high school transcript attached to the application that includes first semester final grades).
- A statement answering the following question: How has living in Beloit shaped you to become the person you are today? Please share any specific obstacles that you had to overcome or specific positive insights about your life in Beloit.
Scholarship award recipients will be required to submit a copy of their college acceptance letter and first semester schedule to the committee prior to receiving funds.
Applications are available in the guidance office of your school. Completed application forms, transcripts, and statements must be e-mailed no later than Friday, March 26, 2021 to blackdreamchasers.scholarship@gmail.com If you have any questions, please submit them through the listed e-mail address.
