William Lloyd Garrison
William Lloyd Garrison was an abolitionist who was the publisher of the newspaper The Liberator. He used that newspaper to tell people that slavery should be abolished.He also formed the Anti-Slavery Society!

Sojourner Truth gave anti-slavery speeches strongly to abolish slavery. After, president Lincoln appointed her as counselor of freedmen in Washington during the Civil War.
