Attendance Matters
Students can complete attendance recovery by following these steps:
1. Students need to sign into their NISD Portal.
2. Find and Click on the Homework Hotline Tile
3. Have them fill out the digital form
4. It will take them to a live Chat Agent that will assign them an AR Room if they do not need tutoring OR a tutor if they need assistance with an assignment.
5. Our AR Monitors are very strict and all students MUST agree to and follow our rules or they will be released.
Attendance Information
Students need to have less than 18 absences (8 absences in the first semester and 10 in the second semester)
Virtual attendance recovery (AR) is available: Monday-Thursday 6-10 PM and Saturday 10 AM-2 PM. Go to your portal (www.mynisd.nisd.net) and select the Student Homework Support - Secondary tile.
Tutoring with a teacher also is used for attendance recovery.
