ALL ABOUT OUR WEEK
We welcomed winter this week in Language Arts!!! We learned about the Letter Buddy Wise W! We learned how to write the Letter W in upper and lower case! We practiced writing the letter in our phonics workbooks, on paper, and in our Letter Buddy journals! We listened and danced along to the letter w songs on story bots and abc mouse!! We listed w words on a Letter Buddy chart paper. We wrote about our favorite thing to do in winter in our best handwriting! We had fun painting and creating snowmen after we read the story Snowmen at night!
In Math, we graphed our favorite winter activity! We practiced writing our numbers and ordering numbers We continued to work on sequencing and ordering events first second and last. We numbered the sequence of building a snowman to go on our winter board.
The world around us
This week, in social studies we learned about the attributes for the season of winter. We focused on categorizing things that we can see or do during the winter. We read many winter themed books to help us learn, such as Winter is for Snow, A
Little Bit of Winter and The Biggest Best Snowman.

Cookie Decorating will be at 9 on Wednesday morning. All students may dress down in pj.s If you are donating cookies, bring them in with you on Wednesday morning. School will close Wednesday at 3:45, no aftercare.
Monday, the 4th of January, will be the first day back from break.
