Thank you all for completing student registration for the 2021-22 school year. If you have any questions about this process for your student(s), please visit our registration page. As a reminder, our student fee webpage outlines the District’s student fee structure and the three ways fees can be paid.

All of the above steps of the enrollment process must be completed prior to the start of the school year. Students of families that, when required, do not prove residency, will not be able to attend class in a District 15 until the family’s residency is verified.

Meet the Teacher

We are excited to offer an in-person Meet the Teacher event on Tuesday, August 17, 2021 at Jane Addams for students and their parents. This morning event is a wonderful opportunity to drop off your school supplies and meet your Teacher the day before school begins for our 1st through 6th grade students the following day. As a reminder, kindergarten begins August 19.

Please remember to pack gym shoes and those water bottles!

Jane Addams School Hours

Monday - Thursday:

Grades 1-6 7:50 - 2:30 (and all day Kindergarten)

Lunch 10:40-12:30

Kindergarten AM 7:50 - 10:25 a.m.

Kindergarten PM 11:55-2:30 p.m.

Friday

Grades 1-6 7:50 - 1:40 (and all day Kindergarten)

Lunch 10:40-12:30

Kindergarten AM 7:50-10:00 a.m.

Kindergarten PM 11:30 - 1:30 p.m.

Morning (AM )and Afternoon (PM) Procedures

Students should arrive to school no earlier than 7:45 AM. Students must be seated in their classrooms by 7:50 a.m. in order to be considered on time.

Bus Riders (The back of Jane Addams)

Buses enter the driveway in the back of the school. Students enter through the back doors (Doors 5 and 15) and are escorted to class∙

NO cars are allowed in the bus zone in the morning.

Car Riders and Walkers (The front of Jane Addams)

Car riders should only use the car lane and exit from the passenger side of the vehicle only.

Cars must pull all the way forward in order to keep the line moving quickly. Please watch for staff members to wave you forward.

NO cars should enter the staff parking lot to let children out there. It is unsafe to have students cross the Drop Off Lane. The JA parking lot is CLOSED for drop-off until 8:00 a.m.

Walkers should always stay on sidewalks.

Lunch and Breakfast at Jane Addams

As in past years, students at Jane Addams are provided breakfast and lunch at no cost. Students can bring items from home. Should they want a milk with lunch, they need only select a fresh fruit option to partner as a meal.

We are fortunate to provide meals at no cost for our students.
