Song Explanation

Beyond the Black - Songs of Love and Death - Lyrics

Why this song was picked for this scene

This song was picked because, it shows how Romeo and Juliet's love for each other started and how it ended. The love they had for each other was to the death like the vows you take when you say "till death do us part". But the thing about this vow is that instead of death doing them part it was the reason they died so they could be with each other in the after life. Also because everyone ( Montagues, Capulets, and Prince Escalus ) started to realized what role each of them played in the deaths of not only Romeo and Juliet but also Paris, Lady Capulet, Tybalt, and Mercutio. Their deaths also had a good impact because the feud between the two families stopped because they lost the joy they once had in their lives so they have no reason to fight anymore.
