Background History
Durning the photo shoot of Marilyn Monroe, Arnold said that Monroe was in total control. Arnold followed Monroe around on the set of "The Misfits" and took photos of her while she was on breaks. These photos are famous because Arnold and Monroe came together and formed such an unique experience's and photographs. The photo was taken of Monroe on the set of "The Misfits" in 1960 in Nevada. Almost all of the photos in this collection are studio including this one. Only a few were action shots that were taken during the filming of the movie.

Opinions
I love this portrait and all of the others in this collection. I think these Photos are unique because they captured Marilyn in a different way than most people have seen. I also love the simplicity of these photos. I wouldn't change anything in the car photo. I would change the framing slightly in the bed photo though. Arnold indeed captured Monroe's personality successfully and in a beautiful way also.
