Post Traumatic Stress Disorder

    PTSD is a disorder that develops in some people who have seen or lived through a shocking, scary, or dangerous event. It can result in panic disorder, depression, substance abuse, and feeling suicidal. Treatment options include psychotherapy ("talk therapy") or medications (antidepressants).
