Our fall Drug Take Back day is quickly approaching. On October 27th from 10am to 2pm we will be at the Sussex Pick N Save collecting expired, or unused medicine along with needles and sharps. Last collection date we collected 22 boxes of medication totaling 289.6 pounds and over 150 pounds of needles and sharps. We are looking for your help in advertising to make this next collection as successful as the last.

Tornado Drill This Week-Everyone Is Ready!

Our school conducted a fall tornado drill-our first of the year. Everyone did an awesome job in being prepped for severe weather. We have predesignated locations around the school for our children to be safe until the there is an all clear announced. We will gave the children information with the announcements Wednesday morning prior to the drill. Our admin team looked over the locations and noted that everyone was indeed in a safe location.

FunRun Kickoff

This past Tuesday we had a FunRun kickoff for the Fall FundRaiser sponsored by our PTO. The children gathered together int he cafeteria to learn about the mystery game that will be played during the run of the fundraiser to help keep the excitement high until the Fun Ron on Oct. 4th. Hope you have the information in your hands and are going to to register pledges. As always, we are blessed with your support.

FOSS Science

In addition to our PLTW Maker Space experiences, these fourth graders are prepping with Mr. Sutter for their erosion experiment coming up. The trays will hold materials that the students will need to complete their work on how water and the earth coexist and change the surface of our planet. The students are giving up their recess to help out.

Playground Fun

Our playground is full of fun things to do. The children have a terrific variety of things to play on and with. The weather has been terrific for them to get out and use their energy in fun ways.

What a wonderful photo of what we try to achieve each day at the Primary School. A place that is safe and nurturing, where we can sit next to our best buddies, and not worry about anything. The bottom line is that we want our school to be the place where your children never want to miss.
